Set in the backdrop of our world renowned Vermont fall foliage, attendees of the Vermont Wine and Harvest Festival will discover, savor and enjoy Vermont vintners, small specialty food producers, chefs, painters, publishers, cheese makers, potters, jewelers, photographers, and farmers.
September 17th brings the festival to Dover and the Mount Snow Resort. There will be over 70 vendors, including Vermont wineries & distilleries to enjoy. Festival goers may shop, taste and savor a truly unique Vermont experience in the tented festival area. Take a break from the tents and ride the Bluebird lift for a summit view of Southern Vermont’s glorious fall foliage or enjoy the tunes of the Straight-Up Band, Legato Blues Band, and others.
The Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival has been designated as one of North America’s Top 100 events by the American Bus Association, the only Vermont event to have made the list! The festival weekend starts off with a Wine Stroll-Soup Contest in historic Wilmington on September 16th from 5pm to 7:00pm. Shop owners, restaurants, and churches open their doors and host soups donated by area restaurants. Ticket purchases include the opportunity to taste Vermont wines, Vermont Distillers spirits, and Whetstone Ciders at select stores throughout town. Live music by the Wyld Nightz Duo will be playing, as tasters and shoppers enjoy the delights of the village of Wilmington restaurants.
